This app has been designed by Tim Allardyce, Physiotherapist in Croydon and Clinical Director of Surrey Physio. The app development was assisted by Senior and Lead Physiotherapists in the Croydon Physio and Surrey Physio Team. Exercises are provided in partnership with Rehab My Patient. The MSK physiotherapy service in Croydon is provided in partnership with the GP Collaborative. We are grateful to Croydon CCG for funding this pilot, and also thank you to Aarti Joshi for the concept of the rehab website.
The app contains useful information and self-help programmes which can be started as soon as you sustain an injury or pain. The idea is that you start to rehabilitate before you get to see us (the physiotherapists), speeding up your recovery and reducing demand on the service. You can also use this app alongside your physiotherapy treatment, or as part of a self-management programme following physiotherapy.

If you suffer a musculo-skeletal (joint or muscle) injury, you can complete exercises to speed up your recovery.
We have provided 3-4 exercises that you can do each day, 6 days per week. You do the exercises either once or twice per day, depending on how quickly you want to recover.
If you get any pain while doing any exercise, stop and seek advice from your physiotherapist or GP.
This app is designed for people aged between 16-65. Over 65s should seek medical advice before performing any of the exercises provided.
